Let’s get it on…


What we’ve all been waiting for…

Fat Burning:

1st things 1st… getting lean is 80% nutrition/diet and only about 20% training.

Fat burning training will speed up results and optimize your efforts, but it’s strictly speaking not even necessary for loosing weight.

Even though it’s definitely recommended, especially if you want to be nice and toned or even muscular.

We will go into the specs, both on training and as far as nutrition, diet, supps and so on in their own corresponding sections.

For now I want to address the whole issue more on a general basis, a good general overview so to speak, with a few quick-starter-tips !;-)

On the whole, there’s a right way, and a wrong way to burn fat.

The wrong way is very hard and not sustainable -not for anybody- in the long run: it’s no life.

And it’s not healthy.

The right way is, not to say easy, but definitely easier, and 110% sustainable, especially once you get the hang of it, and super-healthy!;-)

Most folks, unfortunately, use the wrong approach.

But, don’t you worry none, because… you guessed it!

All that’s over and done with now, here we utilize not only the right approach, but the most optimal and the most perfect approach on the planet that I know of, promise !;-)

As far as training, there’s several factors to be considered.

· I would say that the first and foremost is this: when you’re doing fat burning training, make sure that you’re actually burning fat !;-)

Sounds obvious, but most people, when they think they’re doing fat-burning training, they’re not actually burning any body fat !

So You wanna be sure that your body is switched over to fat-for-fuel before you’re doing fat burning exercise, otherwise there’s not that much point to it.

It’s OK to train, of course, it’s better than nothing, and you can do all kinds of other training, but when you’re doing fat burning training… make it pay !;-)

· The second is that there’s optimal ways to train for burning fat, which are the only ones we will use here.

Number one, it’s not all that much how many calories are burned during exercise, even though that’s a factor no doubt, but I should say that the most important thing is the “Hormonal Response”.

Which for fat burning definitely is the Growth Hormone-, or HGH-Response.

This you will achieve via increasing your lactate, or lactic-acid levels as much as possible.

So the #1 fat burning training out there by a mile is lactate, or lactic acid training.

This is what we do; there’s many ways to do this, many different forms thereof, and we use them all.

Or you can just pick and choose which one suits you best.

Another approach is to cycle them, but more on that in the workouts- and exercise-sections…

· And the third, and final for now is the so-called fat burning-zone, as in a certain pulse rate, etc.

All I ‘ve got to say on that is.. just forget about it!

It’s unfortunately a lot of hogwash, sorry !;-)

What we do is, we work with intensities, time under tension, the right energy-systems in other words, the right timing of nutrition and training… it’s simple, and it works, so that’s what we use.

The aerobic “fat-burning zone” is a lot of what I like to call “pimpifax”, so don’t worry about it !;-)

Fat–Burning Nutrition

As far as nutrition, there’s also some key-points we need to look at:

Several “facts and fallacies”, if you like.

We’ll just go through the most important points right now:

· Calories

Some say it’s calories in vs calories out, you have to be in a calorie-deficit to burn fat. Definitely, it’s true, it’s like a law of physics: if you’re not gonna be in a caloric deficit there’s no way you’re gonna burn fat!

It’s basically just a question on how to achieve that deficit, again, there’s a right way and a wrong way to do this.

· The Type of Food

Some others say it’s important what kind of calories you eat to burn fat successfully.

Now, that’s also true: it’s very important which type of calories, you know:

Some are much healthier for you, some are definitely much more suitable for fat burning, optimizing the whole process, and some are not suitable at all: just think broccoli vs doughnuts, for example.

But at the end of the day it goes hand in hand, it all goes together:

One might eat the best fat burning foods in the world, if you have to many of them… you still get fat.

It’s both: calories in vs out as well as what type of calories, and finally:

· Timing. This is another “Biggie” !;-)

Just about as important as point one, the calorie-deficit.

So point three is the TIMING.

So it’s how much(or how little !;-), what, and WHEN you eat, or don’t eat, for that matter.

And more than that, basically it’s the”holistic whole”, the synergy of all factors, which we will go into in much more detail later on in the Diet- and Training-Sections, like I said.

Same for training: What type, how much or little, and WHEN is essential.

In summary: really it’s all three together: Calories, Type of Calories, and Timing of food and Training. So the whole gives you an effect that’s greater than “the Sum” of it’s parts.

That’s my Golden Rule(keep it simple, stupid: so’s I can keep up !;-)

I want to give you some quick and dirty that you can take away from this and use right now, for immediate results:

Mark’s Training-Tip
Let’s look at the Timing here:

Have Dinner 4 h. before bedtime; no more calories after that !;-)

Now, in the mornig, delay breakfast another 3 hours. This is where you do your Fat Burning Training, making it count !;-)

Note: Just make sure not to over-compensate later on in the day !;-) Low in energy? No prob, an extra cuppa coffee(organic)will fix that and cut appetite to boot… how cool is that?!

Mark’s Diet-Tip
Pretty much the simplest and definitely one of the most effective is this:

Replace most carbs with “Smart Carbs”.

That’s Cruciferous Vegetables and Legumes, aka Broccoli, Cauliflour & Co. and Beans etc.

So take out the potatoes(but professionally, we want a clean job, Bond!), and just have some Cauliflour instead. This alone will make a huuuge difference…
