Rehabilitation Process: Therapy and Exercise
We work with state of the art soft tissue manipulation techniques that treat problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. Headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee problems, golf and tennis elbow are just a few of the many conditions that can be resolved quickly and permanently with our treatments. These conditions all have one important thing in common: they are often a result of overused muscles. Build-up of scar tissue and adhesions are the culprits.
What we do is we break up the lesions, restore elasticity and circulation, release adhesions and restore the proper bio-mechanics.
„You can‘t train/compete too well when injured“
Top Coaches tell us that, according to the Law of Probability, the Athlete who works the hardest for the longest, and that also means who stays healthy, ie.: injury-free for the longest, has the highest chances to succeed, to make it to the Top/win the Gold.
Rehabilitory Exercise
Structural Balance, strengthening and stabilizing of the involved muscles, tendons, ligaments/joints requires very specialized and individualized, supervised work in the weights room. An agressive approach can oftentimes get the athlete back to -and above- pre injury-levels in surprisingly short amounts of time.
„Injury during Sports-Training/Competition affects the future of many Athletes.
In the year 2000 in the united states alone, more than 150.000 Soccer-Injuries occured.
Unfortunately, injuries are most common in sports that attract young Athletes. Many of these injuries could be avoided by introducing Strength Training with the purpose of promoting injury-prevention. Continual education is extremely important, especially for Coaches who work with young Athletes whose bodies are in the process of maturing.
Strength Training should be as much part of the program as are Technical and Strategical skills of the sport.“
