Optimal Strength refers to the optimal levels of Maximal Strength for a given sport, as in that a further increase in strength would not further improve sports-performance.

Optimal Strength Levels for Soccer

1.Full Olympic Back Squat: 1.75x Bodyweight

2.P.Clean: 1.25x Bodyweight

3.P.Snatch: Bodyweight

4.Cl.Gr.Chins: 1.33x Bodyweight

Optimal Soccer Strength-Ratios

1.Fr.Squat/F.O.B.Squat: 85:100

(This equals the Athletic Ham/Quad-Ratio of 85:100 )

2. Power Snatch/Power Clean: 80:100

3. V-Jump, Static/V.-Jump, Counter-Movement: 80:100.

All that Strength Ratios really are is the percentage of one lift to another, of one 1-RM in relation to another.

So if you have a 80/100 Ratio Front Squat to Back Squat -as in example 1- it simply means that if your Back Squat is 100 kg, the Front Squat should be about 80kg, and vice versa.

Have Fun !;-)
