Why Fat-Burning for Athletes?

Simply, an Athlete cannot afford to be fat.

Bodyfat does not have any contractile properties(ie.:it doesn‘t make you any stronger nor faster,)it only weighs you down(it‘s dead weight,) and it inreases intermuscular friction.

Additionally, it influences your metabolism and overall health negatively.
