Press-Release Reykjavík, Iceland January 30, 2010- A new athletic performance center and rehab/prehab clinic in Vesturbær will be opening in February 2010. The VVV-Center will be operated in partnership with the reputable Icelandic sport club, K.R. Reykjavík, and is going to be located at the club’s premises at Frostaskjól 2 in 107 Reykjavík.
The VVV-Center focuses on performance enhancement for professional and top-level athletes. Services will be offered to individuals as well as teams with a goal to improve certain physical attributes in intense and measurable programs.
The VVV-Center also features professional athletic injury-rehabilitation, state of the art soft-tissue therapies, functional medicine, custom fit nutrition and supplementation and elite-level athletic performance coaching. These clinical approaches are ideal for optimally and quickly rehabilitating sports injuries like shoulder problems, lower back pain, groin injuries, and knee/ankle troubles amongst others. The CEO and founder of the VVV-Center is Markus Kislich, a long standing expert in sports rehabilitation and performance. Mr.Kislich notes: “Professional athletes cannot afford to be out with an injury any time at all. That is why we place a lot of emphasis on prehab, or injury-proofing. This in itself will reduce the risk significantly. Should an injury occur, the patient needs to be rehabilitated, immediately, preferably yesterday. The VVV-Center is poised to help serious athletes return to the sporting arena as good as new or even better; stronger and more stable than ever. Our average is for injury-rehabilitation is much shorter than other traditional programs. Because of this and likewise our impressive results in performance enhancement our clientele is international, especially football and handball players come to see us from all over the world!”
